[Graphic] - Fits and Starts #1

Hit the jump for some musings.

Way, way, back in the day, I wanted to be a cartoonist. Then I learned I had no talent as an illustrator. I tried, I did. I learned. I've read countless 'how to draw' books, I've taken classes, I've watched people even 'moderetly fine' do it. Nothing. I can do wicked good stick figures, but that's about it. And so, I turned my attentions elsewhere, but always in the back of my head, the nagging, seeding desire to draw something exists. Then I pick up my pencil, and remember, "oh right, they always come out crap."

Luckily, on this wonderful crapshoot we call the internet, there are always other ways. My other way is Bitstrips, a fairly limited comic creation program used primarily as an educational tool. I've seen it used across many grades with great success. For my purposes though, it's easy, it's free, and I can do most of what I want with it. For everything else, there is photoshop.

So, here's my attempt. Fits and Starts, I'm calling it. It won't be a regular thing, not to start. Mostly one-off jokes centred around a core cast of characters. Maybe some story lines, but for now, just some jokes.

I hope you enjoy, single reader, and half dozen Russian spam sites.

About MR. Clark

Adopting the descriptor of "successfully unpublished author", MR. Clark began writing things on the internet in 2012, which he believed to be an entirely reputable and civilized place to find and deliver information. He regrets much.
