You Have My Sword. And My Bow. And My Block Separator, For The Tricky Bits.

I've been a fan of the Lego video games up to this point. Lego Indiana Jones was fun, Lego Pirates was more enjoyable then the last three films combined, and Lego Batman set the standard for game console joy. Only Lego Star Wars disappointed me, but I think that was more Star Wars fatigue then the game's fault.

So, I'm looking forward to Lego Lord of the Rings. Especially, and for no specific reason, a Lego Ent, if there is such a thing. I think I'll be disappointed if there isn't.

The thing I like most about these Lego games has been by making them silent, they don't have to pay for the movie actors to reprise their roles (at least one is required for every licensed game), and it is actually more effective. We all know how these films go, so we fill in the dialogue ourselves. So I was rather disappointed to see this teaser having them speak the movie lines. Like, straight up ported from the movie. The Lego versions have always also been rather tongue in cheek. So, I don't know...
