From Now On, Stephen Colbert Should Interrupt Everything, To Ask Ridiculously Specific Questions About The Hobbit

It's April, the first of the three Hobbit films has just been released on DVD, so it seems about right that we should start being teased about the contents of the next film, the Desolation of Smaug. And this short video, an extract of a live preview that purchasers of the DVD were privy to, contains some very brief and early footage. There is shots of Bard, and of Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel, and more interestingly, Stephen Fry as the Master of Laketown, in full opulance. It is also mostly concerned less with the new film, and more with Stephen Colbert, and the shoddiness of his mugs.

And I for one am glad this week is over. I'm blaming April 1st, but I've felt out of sorts all week. Next week will be better, I assure you. Well, I hope. Well, I intend. It probably won't be, if I'm being honest. Might even be worse. So, we've got that to look forward to.
