Happyish Now?

Once known as the sitcom meant to star Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Showtime's HAPPYish is set to premiere in April, with Steve Coogan in the lead, as a man coming to grips with the fact that he doesn't know if he is capable of being happy. It is tempting to write this one off as yet another in a long line of works about middle aged men who can't see how good they have it, but it costars Kathryn Hahn and Bradley Whitford, and this type of role is perfect for Coogan. So, I'll give it a shot.

That being said, it is hard to watch a series like this after having watched Coogan's fictional self moan and egotasm (yup, completely made that word up) over lead Hollywood roles in the Trip films.
