Well, That Sucks...

Whether they've been good or bad, I really like the range of films that Tina Fey has chosen since leaving 30 Rock behind. And leaving behind the Liz Lemon character type that she could have fallen into quite easily. Take her new film, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (suss that hidden meaning out for yourself), which is as far removed from Sisters as possible, which is as far removed from This Is Where I Leave You, which was far removed from that one with Paul Rudd that I'm pretty sure involved horses?

Anyway, I like the look of WTF (for those that didn't work it out earlier). It ain't Wag the Dog, but what is, right? At the very least, it's got a cast of people I enjoy backing Fey up, like Billy Bob Thornton, Alfred Molina, Margot Robbie and Martin Freeman (When! When did he have time to film this? Does he not sleep, or eat, or poop? Well, I suppose, if he didn't eat he wouldn't have much reason to poop...). And you've got to figure that one of these satirical American Invasion of the Middle East movies is going to find the right comedic cord, right? Whose to say it won't be this one?
